Poor Ashley Simpson.. I just whatched SNL and her last song got all fucked up... Her voice started singing before it was supposed too and she just looked sooooo embarrased.. LOL.. so its official, she doesn't sing live, just lip syncs. haha.

Haha a friend showed me the clip since it's already online. That is so embarrassing for her, but its good the world knows she doesnt actually sing her music on stage, which, by the way, when you're not playing an instrument, is not difficult to do. What a loser.

I just saw a clip of the performance. I feel embarrassed for her, but, lord, that is something funny right there. Especially funny is the hoedown she breaks into after she realizes someone in the control booth screwed up and when the guitarist and bassist are looking at each other trying to keep from cracking up.

Since I didn't watch SNL, did she come back after the commercial break to "sing" the correct song? Or did they just say, "Screw it?"

She may have been able to keep at least a shred of her dignity had it not been for the dance.

Even if she had skipped the "Cotten Eyed Joe Dance of Doom" (as someone online has referred to it), she still would have no dignity after ending the show by blaming the band. Dearie, it's not the band's fault that your voice started pouring from the loudspeakers when you were six feet away from the microphone.

She never came back to "sing" the correct song.. LOL

At then end when everbody gets on stage and says 'bye and goodnight' and what not, Ashlee was like "sorry guys, my band started playing the wrong song!"

so they basically just said screw it...
