The move is done with finally! My brother and sister both helped so that was super nice of them. The new apartment is awesome, lots of space. My only bitch thus far is the A/C isn't working properly. The place is cool, but it took 14 hours for it to cool the place down to 72 degrees, and it hasn't turned off once... so something is obviously ( Read more... )

Hitching a ride on some poor, unsuspecting person's completely unsecured wireless network? For shame! ;-)

Sounds like you and Bobby have gotten yourselves a great place to live and are settled pretty well. It takes me at least at least a couple weeks to completely get settled in a new place. I hope you have a quick week, too, and have fun on the vacation.

Yep, shame on me! lol... One of the ameneties here is a 'cyber cafe' with 4 computers and free cappuchinos/coffee... but I was too lazy to walk over there ;)

But there is still a bit more settling in to do... the bedroom is full of unpacked boxes! But we do have the living/kitchen and dining room in pretty good shape.

don't you love it here? are you guys in the building with the round pool in the courtyard? we're in the middle building; we have no pool in this building, but we've got bbq pits and like all sorts of tables and chairs, very parisian... next bbq or party we have, i'll let you guys now.

btw - we had the same prob. with our a/c - raul will get it fixed fast for ya.

Yeah, we are in the building with the tiny round pool :) So far I'm loving it!!.. is there actually a courtyard in the middle building? From the street it looks like total parking garage!

I'll be happy when our bedroom is totally unpacked and in order... we are getting a new bed and chest delivered tonight, so there really isn't anywhere to store a lot of the clothes at this point.
