Yeah, the rain Thursday was nice. We even got a little more of it this morning, which was a pleasant thing to wake up to.

Wait! How do you two know each other?? I'm having a bad case of the small worlds.

We were captured while serving in the Air Force detachment doing air raids over Kosovo. We were held in a Serbian-controlled complex for nearly two hours before we managed to distract the guards long enough to escape. From there, we spent three weeks dodging the patrols and Balkan dangers until we finally emerged at a friendly base. We were both awarded the Presidential Medal of Honor by President Clinton (who, incidentally, groped my ass twice).

well you were wrong about the heat this weekend... it was a nice weekend! not 'oppressive' hehe.. still a bit hot, but it could have been a lot worse.
