 i feel like there's this weird transition time where we're supposed to go from child to adult.

this big long bridge that some people take the bullet train over, some people drive over, some people jump off of, some people walk over, some people go fishing of off, and some people consider crossing but never leave the first side.

hm.

everyone i know is completely out of their mind.

i'm starting to really question whether or not humans are rational beings.

this year,
i'm giving gifts to people i hardly know.
and some i hardly like.

i'm thinking that they will be surprised.
and maybe.
at least for a little while.
they won't be grumpy, and be happy that someone thought about them.

and hey,
maybe they'll even be inspired to treat people better.

or.
maybe not.

but it's worth a shot.
