1. Heechul
Heechul may act like a high-maintenance diva, but he does care deeply about the members. It’s no secret, however, that Donghae is his favorite dongsaeng. There’s just something about the younger boy that makes Heechul want to protect him. However, Heechul is delighted when he discovers that Donghae is more than willing to go along with Heechul’s many brilliant schemes. Heechul gives his dongsaeng a smirk, an expression Donghae mirrors, before they water bomb an unsuspecting Eunhyuk. Again.
2. Minho
Minho feels apologetic about it, but he can’t help it; out of all the Super Junior hyungs, he loves Donghae the most. He never runs out of things to talk about with Donghae, and Donghae is the best hyung Minho could ever ask for. Hence, when Donghae worries about Eunhyuk joining Dream Team, Minho jumps at the chance to repay his hyung for his years of kindness.
3. Kibum
When Kibum steps off the plane and onto his homeland for the first time in many years, head spinning from nervousness, he is greeted by brown eyes and a warm hug. Any anxiety he was feeling disappears in an instant as he returns the embrace; he feels welcome already without even knowing the name of the brunette to whom he would always be thankful for. Therefore, after disappearing from Super Junior activities for more than a year, Kibum finally makes up his mind to return when Donghae asks him to come back.
4. Yesung
Even with members like Sungmin or Ryeowook in the group, Yesung always feels that Donghae is the cutest of them all. It’s not because he acts cute, but because he’s naturally cute. And even though he knows Donghae only likes skinship with Eunhyuk, Yesung can’t resist hugging Donghae fondly at random moments.
5. Jessica
Jessica has a huge school girl crush on Donghae; which female trainee doesn’t? He’s handsome, thoughtful, polite, and romantic. She spends countless hours doodling his name in the margins of her notebook, imagining her life as Mrs. Lee Donghae. But a crush is nothing but a crush, and years later, when both of them are successful in their own right, Jessica is proud to call Donghae a close friend. Nevertheless, sometimes when he gives her that special smile of his, Jessica’s heart beats just a little faster.
6. Leeteuk
As the leader of Super Junior, Leeteuk is anything if not responsible. So when Donghae’s father entrusts him with his beloved son, Leeteuk takes his words to heart. He makes sure that Donghae is eating right, getting enough exercise, going to bed as early as possible, waking up in time for his morning schedules. But whenever he goes into Eunhyuk’s room to wake the Dance Machine and sees the EunHae couple fast asleep in each other’s embrace, Leeteuk can’t help quietly closing the door with a small smile and letting them be for another five minutes.
7. Ryeowook
Ryeowook knows how homesick everyone is when they’re promoting Super Junior M in China for two months. So he does his best to put aside his own melancholy and cheer them up by cooking various Korean dishes. One day, Ryeowook is feeling particularly downhearted and tells the members to order take out before turning in early. However, just as Ryeowook is about to drift off to sleep, Donghae comes in, eyes dancing with mischief. Annoyed as he is, Ryeowook can’t help but to get out of bed and cook his hyung dinner.
8. Yunho
Yunho isn’t surprised when the new trainee latches onto him; after all, they are from the same hometown. Besides, he finds it endearing when Donghae follows him around like a lost puppy. So Yunho decides to be a good hyung by helping him with dance steps and introducing him to other trainees. Eventually, Donghae gets comfortable with other trainees and no longer turns to Yunho first for praise. As he watches Hyukjae smiling gummily at something Donghae said, Yunho thinks affectionately about strays and spreading wings.
9. Kyuhyun
Even though Sungmin has most of Kyuhyun’s love, Donghae does hold a special place in his heart. Donghae may be childish, and he may break everything he touches, but he is also one of the strongest people Kyuhyun knows. Somehow, Donghae always knows when Kyuhyun is feeling lonely. He’s always there when Kyuhyun needs a shoulder, an ear, or even just someone to trash in games. It’s really no wonder that his other hyungs complain about how Donghae is the only one Kyuhyun tones down his snark for.
10. Eunhyuk
Eunhyuk wasn’t lying during the filming of the mini drama when he said he used to like Donghae as more than a friend. Because now, he loves Donghae as more than a friend.
Eunhyuk automatically shifts over in his bed to make more room when his blankets are lifted. He shivers slightly at the cool draft, but the chill is immediately dissipated when a familiar warmth settles itself next to him. Eunhyuk turns around and wraps his arms around a firm, but trim waist.
“What are you smiling about?” Donghae asks sleepily, looking at Eunhyuk with beloved brown eyes.
“Nothing,” Eunhyuk whispers. His smile widens when Donghae snuggles closer and he plants a chaste kiss on the younger’s soft hair.
Because even though everyone loves Donghae, Eunhyuk is the one Donghae loves the most.
