They hit me because they were driving too fast, and tailgating both me, and one another. But they may very well be nice. I didn't get to meet them because I was taken from the scene by

Costa Mesa if adding 3 new camera intersections...
The reason is, that even if they increase the number of accidents at the intersections, they decrease the number of severe accidents.
Statistics show that when there is a camera at an intersection, then number of red light runners, and T-Bone accidents goes down.
But the number of rear-end accidents go up, and people will stop rather than run the light, then the tailgaters will rear-end them.

I hate tailgaters too! My grandfather used to say something that has always stuck with me and now with Tessa only a couple of years away from driving I've been telling her what he said too. It's pretty simple but it has made me a better driver for it. He said, "you have to drive your car and everyone else's car at the same time." As I am driving I am constantly watching and "driving everyone else's car" at the same time so I can always be ready...if that's possible.
