It's kinda bad when the lead character is from a previous game and all the revelations about him rely on you having played said game.

It felt like the entire second half was mocking me. But oh well, it just adds to the mindfuck. I expected I wasn't going to have half a clue what the fuck was going on by the time the credits rolled anyway.
