Have to say I'm half-tempted by the new Wicker Man although I love the original and can't see how Edward Woodward could be recast as Nicholas Cage under *any* circumstances. I bet they even cut the songs :(

Thanks! Oh, I'm completely tempted only because I've read such detailed reviews of it. I never usually do that, but I had to in this case. I won't get into that if you haven't read any, but WOW, it looks like it'll be hilarious!

They probably did cut the songs, I'm guessing. That's sad because the soundtrack is simply amazing. One of my all-time favorites, I'd say.

Oh, and can I just say that the title of your lj that comes up in my browser "a very special blend..." when your page loads made me laugh mightily. I repeat that quote to myself every time I stand in my bedroom surveying the giant mass of laundry on the floor waiting to be done. ;)
