Oh, it's been such a long time!! I've never been a genius re. this, but I remember in school I used to do that fairly well. (Shhhhhh... that's almost two decades ago...)

Actually I am a bit wiser meanwhile. I used your search suggestions and then searched a bit further... and at the moment it looks like I can use the standard MS Paint software (well, at least for starters), and there are actually mouses that are used like a pen. AND I have found used ones on ebay, which are affordable for me. :)
