I really enjoyed Summerland. Part of it was because an American themed fantasy feels very different from the standard european fare. That side of it grabbed me.

I also like his writing a lot - just finished The Yiddish Policemen's Union which fechtbuch got me for a birthday present and I still need to read Cavalier and Clay which I can see in a shelf from here ;)
