This is AWESOME! I can't help suggesting adding a hood with big scales up the center. :-)

That's a great idea, but I don't think I have enough yarn left for that (it was hand-dyed especially for this project, so there can be no more matching yarn, either). Also, I am afraid that if the wearer were to put the hood ON, she might BECOME a dragon and begin to ravage the countryside.
