Hm.. it's been kind of nice since the chips got fixed again. Oh, but there are a lot of new people coming into the city too, aren't there? Johnny mentioned that a few days ago. Welcome, to the new people! And um.. sorry, too.
Um.. I talked to a boy named Naruto a couple of weeks ago and he said it was his birthday, and that a long time ago,

[ Bridget runs to Testament's bedroom where he kept his notebooks and grabs one. In just a minute he runs down the steps and into the lobby. ]

Moments later he strolls into the lobby and stops short--because of all things, a kid nun? She's cute enough, and it's not a bad thing considering he's mostly stocked up on girly stuff, but it's still another surprise to the heap.
What a city, damn.]
--Hey.

What almost distracts the short blonde is the scarring on the left side of his face. Bridget does not find it ugly or disturbing, rather, he finds it sad. He imagines how he could have gotten hurt so badly.. Despite all of these thoughts, he doesn't so much as stare. His liquid green eyes remain locked into the stranger's. ]
Hello! My name is Bridget. Pleased to meet you!
Umm.. So.. What have you got there?

[Interesting kid. Not a lot of people can keep looking him in the eye like that after the first glance.
At the prompt, he nods at the bag in his hands and looks around for a spot to dump things out. There's a dusty, half-crumpled table-or-dresser in the corner, so he uses the bag as a dust-buffer and spreads out his--wares? Supplies? Whatever. At least they're not out on the sidewalk; from door-to-door salesman to sidewalk vendor, he really doesn't need to go any lower.
There's a few chiffon-looking things and two lighter jackets in pastel colors, and most of the darker things are smaller-sized. He hadn't expressly gone for the winter clothes, but the majority of it is pretty heavy-layered.]
There you go.

Thank you! I appreciate you making a trade with me! It's starting to get colder and all..
Uh, how long have you been in this city, Mello?
[ He watches as Mello dumps the bag out and spreads the clothing out for him to see. He smiles a little at the silky looking clothing, but he remembers that those clothes are for girls. Besides, his eye is on the pastel blue jacket peeking out from beneath the other clothes. He moves the other things away and pulls the jacket out.
White feux fur lined the sleeves and bottom, satin lining inside. Beneath that he notices a dark long sleeved shirt, probably for a girl, but most of the time he has a hard time telling the difference if it isn't obvious. Bridget slides the jacket on to make sure it fits and spreads his arms for Mello. ]
Does this look alright? I kind of like that black shirt too, though..

Haven't kept very close track. [Which is a lie, but it's all relative, anyway.] Give or take a month, I guess. You?
[He watches in amusement as the kid makes a beeline for the bottom of the pile; this one knows what she wants.
--Definitely knows what she wants.]
It's fine. [Looks pretty funny over the nun garb, but blue seems to be her color. He fights the urge to roll his eyes--kids.] Hm. Well, I heard something about a birthday, if I remember right...

[ Bridget stands on his tip toes, trying to see into a decorative mirror mounted on the wall behind then. He can only see up to his shoulders, but he smiles, satisfied with his choice, and turns to Mello. ]
So this one is better? Thank you! I really like this jacket!
Oh- Yep! My birthday is coming up! I guess this is kind of a nice treat for me, so thanks for making this trade! It's like an early birthday present, hee hee! Hey- do you want to come?
I hope you get good use out of that notebook! I couldn't find any more of them, so I guess a lot of people need them.

He offers a bit of a half-smile.]
You're welcome. And I'm probably going to be somewhere else on the day of, but-- [Tossing the black shirt to Bridget.] --have an actual early birthday present, I guess.
And yeah... this is going to come in handy. Good trade for me, too.

[ Surprised, Bridget reaches out to catch the shirt and once he does he grips it close to his chest. His eyes shimmer as he smiles at Mello. He hadn't expected such generosity when this city had so little. ]
Ah- Thank you so much, Mello, that's really so kind of you!
[ Bridget quickly removes the jacket he's chosen and tosses it to a small love seat off to the side. Shockingly, Bridget reaches around to his back and tugs down a short zipper at the back of his dress, slips his slender arms through the sleeves and peels the top of the dress down to his hips, exposing his delicate but now obviously male physique.
He excitedly pulls on the shirt, obviously for a girl, and examines himself. As odd as it is, Bridget is still completely bashful about his biker shorts showing and tugs the dress downward carefully, just as a girl would protect against it. ]
Does this look good too??

[He shrugs reflexively despite the fact that Bridget's attention is already elsewhere, and raises an eyebrow when the kid starts undressing in front of him--he starts to avert his eyes (better than nothing on short notice), but stops short--
Well, that explains a few things. And totally fucks with everything else, but he resists the familiar urge to go smack his head against a wall until everything makes sense again, quashes the secondary need for a chocolate bar to cope and makes himself digest the realization.
Crossdressing boy nuns. Matt's going to have a field day with this one.]
Looks fine. It'll work with the jacket and all.
[Crossdressing boy nuns asking him for fashion advice. Yeah, this is going in his memoir, if he ever bothers with one.]
