Hiiiiii ninaaaaaaa It's been so long ohgosh i dont even know how to comment/write/post an entry anymore. This is a good entry, a thought provoking entry? One you could go back and read when you're feeling lost and hopeless, like the way i am now. I'm only half functioning and things. Maybe I should reread your entry to remind myself to love myself first. So, thank you.
Once again, I would like to thank you for gracing us with something wonderful. Thank you. This is beautiful, really.
It's thought provoking. And I think it's something that most of us think about often but are too scared to answer honestly. We are bombarded everyday, from media, social networks, and even music, with the "ideal" image of what a "likable" person is. And we often forget who we are. I think it's an everyday struggle to go through this society and keep ourselves whole at the end of the day. I'd like to think that I have become a person who likes myself but there are those times when I still doubt. I really connected with this.
Oh my gosh. You're welcome. I am overwhelmed whenever anyone says that they connected with something I wrote. ♥
And it's true, right? We fit ourselves into ideals so we become likable, but do we actually like that ideal? It's a question we never ask ourselves enough.
