Ramblings on a music life
So, in about three weeks is the annual Music Festival at DSU, where music teachers judge the music you perform and give you a rating (Superior, Excellent, Good, Fare, Poor). If you get a Superior three years in a row, then you are eligible for a "gold" cup. The first year I got a Superior on solos and an Excellent on my concerto. Last year I took ( Read more... ) -

Having not felt very well this last week, I have taken to playing more computer. Even my piano seems to sap energy from me just now. So... I won 2 games (and lost one) in Age of Empires II, and my best kill score in Jedi Academy was about 25 for a FFA game. Life is pretty good.:-) -

I received word a few minutes ago that some friends of a friend where in a car accident... 1 death, six in critical condition, and no one knows who the driver was because the person took off. My friend was very close to the one who died, and pretty close another one of the kids, so please say a prayer for my friend...he's had a lot of death already ( Read more... ) -

Happy Thanksgiving!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!! I realized this evening that I had something very special to be thankful for this year: health. This is the first Thanksgiving in the new house, that I have had where I haven't been very sick. Man, and I am thankful....
