WOW!!! I am shocked. I have never in my life had any landlord who actually cared about anything. Even when I reported things that were seriously life-risking things, they just shrugged them off. Or started to fix things and either did them wrong, did them the cheapest way possible(which inevitably meant they were done wrong), or never finished fixing them (remember the hole in the ceiling in my house on Frambes that was the result of the landlord attempting to fix a leak and remained a hole in my ceiling the rest of the time I lived there because he never came back to finish it no matter how many times we called him?????)

anyway, long explanation for the fact that I am stunned at how great your landlord is!

Oh, I was quite surprised too. He had left me a note saying to defrost my fridge overnight so he could work on it, but I opted to not lose all my food (which I would have) so I told him not to bother. He ended up fixing it anyway without it being defrosted. And yeah, the fact that they just *gave* me a brand new stove, despite the fact that I've only been a tenant for 2 weeks and have no real standing with them - that was (pleasantly) shocking.

Our analog scale is about 10 pounds off, at least at the weight range that Keith and I fall into. We have to keep it set at 10 instead of 0 to get it to read anything close to what other scales read. Oh well.
