I finished the bar exam. This brings my three year law school adventure to a close....for now. And my tentative february plans notwithstanding, I woke up today feeling like, yeah, here it is - a start from scratch.

The exam was diabolical. Instead of hammering us with the tricky issues that we have been studying for months,

thanks dude. I have this amazing idea that I will be getting back in touch with people in my life again now that this is all over (fingers crossed).

congrats on finishing the bar exam! the only words of wisdom i have are: everyone feels like they failed. i would have bet a thousand bucks that i failed. just try not to spend the next few months beating yourself up over your perception of how you did - what's done is done. worst case scenario? you take it over again in the winter.

if you're talking about a certain public defender's office that this commenter may or may not be associated with, word on the streets of said organization is that we are hiring. put on your waiting pants, though, cause they didn't call me until the first of october for a job that started a week later. don't be afraid to call the hiring coordinator, she's really nice and is used to being bombarded with anxious calls from recent law grads.

you finished! hooray! its so exciting! i agree that everyone thinks they failed. my bar exam had workers comp on it and the budget study-at-home kit i bought didnt even teach that, nor had i learned it in lawschool, and i was terrified but all was fine. just forget the exam for now and revel in the fact that you are nolonger a lawstudent!
jobs will come. i promise. call for a pep talk any time.
