Worried about GANTZ
After the hype yesterday.. all the virtual screaming and such..
i realized one thing... (i think there are spoilers inside...)
i mean.. Ive been watching the anime version at youtube.. the plot is kinda excting.. it involves a lot of killing aliens, holding guns, cool outfit, kakkoi character (or maybe not.. nino's character is such a hentai.. soo that maybe a little funny imgining nino acting that out.. ) but its not fit for children! I heard they are going to minimize the bloodfest but if that happens, a lot of gantz fanatic would react. I guess, its more of a damned if you do damned if you dont kind of scenario. Minimize the porn and blood, gantz fanatic would react, put it as hardcroe as the anime or the manga.., only a few fans would appreciate it.. / watch it. especially not kids.
But I must say! kudos to nino for accepting this role. Its such a huge project for him and a tottaly different genre. I would love to see him act as someone doing all those action stunts!! AND WITH L! ok , i dont know him . i havent seen death note (im going to watch it soon.. ), but i heard a lot of good stuffs about his acting, so having him as nino's partner is a win-win scenario. Having this project is like expanding his acting career. If he can ace this one, we could say that hes a truly versatile actor. I mean we all know that he is.. but its different thing if hes gonna act on a serious action film like this one.
All in all.. i still cant wait for the film. I am totally looking forward to it.. will pray for the success of it.
Ps. Did i mention taht this is guy-kind of thing manga? coz yeah. blood, guns and sex.
