Honestly, Christine was lonely. California was beautiful and her roommate was a hoot, her classmates were fun for the most part, and she was loving school. Leonard missed her terribly. He'd kept wanting to go see her, to go visit her but time just was so restrictive that he ended up spending all of his nights alone instead. He had friends, of course, but time with them wasn't nearly as much fun as time with her was. He missed her smile, he missed her laugh. He missed holding her hand and sitting with her, and waking up with her in his arms.

He'd been in the middle of a study in his room, doors locked to keep out other students so he wasn't disturbed when he heard his PADD go. A minute, two passed as he finished writing out what he needed to before he lost track of himself, before he picked up his PADD.

With a wide smile on his face, he settled back and tapped in his reply.

Hey, beautiful. I don't know; what?

She was smiling by the word 'beautiful.' Regardless of how anyone else saw her, she didn't really feel beautiful or pretty or anything unless he said she was. Hot, sure, but he was the one who always called her beautiful.

A moment after she sent that, she laughed to herself, and, blushing, send a second quick message.

His eyes went wide when he got her message and he flailed, dropping his PADD in surprise. He loved her, he even loved it when she talked dirty but that surprised him. A lot.

When he got the second message, he bit on his bottom lip and typed in a reply.

No, I'm alone. And... would love if you could do that.
