This is the WORST year of college football officiating that I have ever seen in my life. It's like they are afraid to make a call on the field because they may look bad when the video evidence proves them wrong. What happens when the video proves it but the officials in the video re-play booth say "there was no defining evidence"? If you watched ( Read more... )

On the UT/LSU game, I understood why they called it the way they did. The rules say that the evidence has to be indisputable. Now, I saw what you saw, I think he touched it, but I understood how they could call that one either way because the evidence really needs to be solid to overturn it. And you know me, I was pulling for LSU in a major way in that one. I hate UT.

In the South Carolina game, there were several borderline interference no-calls and then they call it on that play?!? That was a bad call all the way.

Alabama - I have been in Shula's court all season, but as of yesterday, I have moved into the "it's time for a change" column. If Shula is willing to hire a new OC and let that person make some changes, then Shula should stay. If he has to be forced into it, that's a sign that he is unwilling to see the writing on the wall, and it's time for him to go. Prior to yesterday, I would have said that stability was crucial for us, but then again, I expected, at worse an 8-4 season.
