I had to change my user name. So, yeah, it’s sparky955, just the 2023 version.

In my real life, nothing has changed. My cats, Moose & Mariah turned 8 this past summer.  I paid off my mortgage, so both my property taxes & homeowners insurance are of course rising.  Still living as The Pink Hermit.

I got the latest Covid-19 vaccine today & around 5

I got my new covid booster yesterday just a few hours before you did. I haven’t had any systemic reaction although my arm is a little sore today.

Of course, I’ve been feeling quite sad yesterday evening and today, but I attribute that to the terrible loss of DM, not to my vaccination. I suppose I should have been expecting it, given his age and lack of recent activity, but it took me totally by surprise.

It’s wonderful to see you back. I hope you stay.

If I can get adjusted to the new formatting (sometimes, using only an iPad is a pain) I believe I will.

I feel like Loki did when The Hulk beat him into the floor in Stark’s apartment. My, WHAT an immune response Moderna is giving me. Thanks so much. Could we stop now?

I use an ipad, too, so I know what you mean.

The “experts” say an immune response is a good thing, and I guess this new vaccine is more likely to cause one since it’s quite a bit different than the older versions. So I don’t know whether that makes me lucky or unlucky to only have a sore arm. The only time I had an immune response was the very first one, and this is, what?, number six or seven.

I do, thanks. Fully back to my moderately inhuman level of malfunctioning. Arm still sore to touch. I’m not sure it’s going to be ready for a flu shot next week & I’m loathe to use my right arm.

I knew I’d get kicked because I was switching from Pfizer to Moderna. At least I didn’t run a fever.
