Lexi-Comp Questions

I have been told that LexiComp is a good app to have for Nursing, but I was just wondering which databases within LexiComp are most useful (and which ones I can avoid). When you get the LexiComp app, you get 30 days of access to all of the databases, and after the 30 days, you can purchase access to any of the databases you want to keep. there ( Read more... )

we are not allow to use our smart phones on the floor for clinic but we are allowed to use our books. I have the mosby books for labs/test and meds. check with your school

We can't use phones, but we CAN use iPod Touches. Same apps for iPhone are available on the iPod Touch.

The issue I have with Micromedex is that sometimes medications I need to look up aren't in there. For example, Milk of Magnesia. Not in there under that name. Is it in there under a different name? I don't know, all I have to go on in the MAR is Milk of Magnesia!
