Pie time

I haven't hosted a Thanksgiving dinner in a few years, but this week for Sukkot I made a pumpkin pie (two, actually) and served them as part of an afternoon cream tea (which justified buying a can of spray whipped cream, though I also bought half-fat creme fraiche for the grownups).

o! coles notes on the fish pie please? the only fish pie i can recall is the katherine from stratford's salmon pie. it had a lovely crumbly topping mixed with chive flowers. i really should try to look her up and touch base again. time passes too easily :(
