I don't think I'll have to pay to rent at Blockbuster ever again. First, I redeemed my nearly 500 coke rewards points for nothing but free rentals. Second, we already get 1 free weekly rental from doing their online rentals. Third, they've recently begun accepting your online rentals to mail back for you AND getting a free in-store rental for the exchange. So I got the first 2 discs of Big Love this afternoon. One episode in and I'm quite hooked, despite it centering around Bill Paxton.
Later in the afternoon Lauren called and asked me to come up to the school and help her file things. Holy mother I wasn't expecting the traffic to be so bad at 4. I was in the car longer than I was in that classroom. Ohhhhh, but did I snag a gem to share! Lauren picked up a note being passed in class and Oh my GOD is it one of the most awful/hilarious things I've ever read.

HAHAHAHAHA.
Poke my eyes out, they *actually* write "lol" on PAPER?? And "IDK"? I have never in my life seen that before. That's terrrrrible. And "your face"! I'm just in shock. SHOCK. Oh Internet, what have you done to our youth??? But I can't hate you, you entertaining devil, you.
Ugh, and Lauren and I are on the hunt for the '60s version of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella that we grew up on. I like it so much better than the updated version with Brandi and Whitney Houston (oy!). Can't find the DVD anywhere! I want I want! And with very little trouble, I could break her little arm...
