I am happy to report that FINALLY after quite a number of years of being chicken I had Lasik yesterday and I couldn't be happier. Prior to the surgery my vision was 20/300 in my left eye and 20/400 in my right, I am thrilled to report that today my vision is 20/20 in both eyes. It is truly amazing how different things look.

Was it really expensive?

It was $5000.00 total. That covers the pretesting, the followup for the next year as well as any corrective surgery that might be needed if the procedure didn't get you to 20/20 the first time. I also have a lifetime guarantee that if my vision gets terribly worse over the next years (Once I am in my 40's I might still need reading glasses) they correct it at no cost for me. I have waited a long time for this and think that it is by far the best money I ever spent. I can certainly recommend the Doctor I used as she was fabulous.
