About a week and a half ago, I had a job interview with my old high school Waukesha North for an English and drama teaching position. I had been surprised to hear from them in the first place; I'd believed they were looking for someone with more experience, at the least. on a happier note, how crazy cool is this job?! congrats! it would be sort of surreal working at a place where i was once a student.

I know, it is pretty weird. Mrs. Krause Mary Ann is my mentor now, instead of my debate teacher. Which, actually, I'll be teaching now. And I ran into Mr. Riccardi John and Mr. Behrendt Tim the other day too.

condolences on your lost, but congratulations on your gain!

i student taught at the middle school i attended, enough time had passed where it wasn't all that odd, but there were certainly strange things, like being colleagues with people that had me as a student.

It's definitely weird. I've run into a few of my old teachers already, but that first week before school starts will hopefully be enough time for me to adjust!
