Whew, so glad it's not MRSA. I had a nasal staph infection for like 2 years without knowing it until I finally went to the ENT last summer, hah.
I went to my midwife this morning and my bp was 86/68. I have the opposite problem! I feel like laying down and sleeping constantly, or I feel nauseous. It fucking sucks.
I'm so happy it's not a MRSA because then my only option was IV abx... now I just have to take stupid pills a million times a day to get the stench of the Staph out of my nose.
Early pregnancy can totally suck for BP, and I know you have low bp issues even without being pregnant! I can't imagine feeling like I was on the verge of passing out all the time.
High blood pressure only starts sucking when things get out of control. With E, I lost my vision intermittently and had lots of shortness of breath, but I'm not quite there yet this time! I'm on bedrest anyway for the pre-term labor, so that's all they would be doing for now for the bp... I had Mark take my bp when I got home, because I expected it to be normal sitting on the couch in our living room, but he got pretty much the same thing, so I guess it's real... was hoping to escape
Anyway, your picture the other day was amazing. You look so lovely but it was also evocative in that way you seem to manage effortlessly with your photos.
I love this blog http://www.mamasonbedrest.com/blog/ the woman is from Austin and her twitter is great so I added the RSS of her blog. It's not just bed rest related, she talks about all kinds of controversial pregnancy stuff. I was laying in bed A LOT for the 6 weeks of awful morning sickness so her tips about "exercising" in bed were great!
