"The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ" is the record of the early inhabitants of the Americas. It takes place from around 600 BC to 400 AD and chronicles the rise and fall of two nations who immigrated here from Jerusalem. It also talks about Christ visiting the people here, and teaches a lot of the same principles that are found in the Bible. The Doctrine and Covenants is a collection modern day revelations, most of which was recieved by Joseph Smith, but some of it is from other modern day prophets. A lot of it is explanations of how the church should be organized to follow the same pattern that Christs church did when it was first established. It also clarifies some of the things taught in The Bible that have gotten somewhat confusing after the multiple times it has been translated. The Pearl of Great Price is the books of Abraham and Moses. It's the same things that you find in Genesis, just slightly expanded, and with some corrections to the translation. Sorry about the long answer, I hope it helped. :)
