  For some time now our government has been considering lowering the drinking age to 18. The only argument I can think of for lowering the drinking age...is that all the countries I have lived in with low drinking ages (and no drinking problems among the young), are countries where young people are expected to act like adults. But that's not because of the law, that's because of the culture.
