Well... that was probably the weirdest double-bill in history. The first movie, a comic-doc on the divide of Inuit and white cultures, got family audiences, extending to seniors and children. It was obvious those people didn't know (or want to know) what the hell they were looking at when Later that Stevening started. It is certainly not a family comedy. But I think the movie plays really well. Everyone I talked to liked it. It was cool seeing it on the big screen. Usual festival tech issues, though. The projectionist misunderstood my instruction that for all the audio to fall in place the opening music is meant to be earth-shatteringly loud, not a general mid-tone setting.
