One word: amazing. I love the vulnerability you gave to Kirk and bones being persistent and not letting Jim get into his own head too much, knowing that he will run the second emotions are discussed. While I love that story line I can't help but love Spock in this. He is subtly attempting to make Jim feel better and their friendship in this is soo cute.

Awesome job!

Thank you! I'm such a sucker for Kirk/Bones but I did want a chance to fit Spock or Scotty in there somehow. Glad you enjoyed!

Lovely!! Your characterization is just fantastic, and you did a great job building the suspense -- what happened between them?? This actually happened to me with my husband -- he was terrified of those three words, because his parents only ever used them when something bad was happening. I'm glad Jim and Bones got through it! Such a cute couple :)
