I'm so glad that you like it. I love Spock and Kirk. I knew the story wasn't going to focus on them but I just had to get it in there XD.

I couldn't bring myself to kill Winona. Best Mom or worst mom she such a great plot device, I've come to like reading about her. XD

Well done - I enjoyed that so much. It was written with a lot of respect for the characters and with a tenderness that was genuinely moving.

My favorite part in particular was the way Spock supported Jim. I LOVED the scene where Jim tells Spock that it hurts and Spock eases his pain by helping him to go to sleep. That earned a chocked up "Ahhh" from me. : )

I'm happy that you like it. To be honest it was difficlut to write.

Kirk and Spock are amazing. This whole thing could have been written without them but I can't help it! I love them so I had to sneak them in there. I'm glad you enjoyed the scenes with them.
