After other of my favourite books have been massacred by the TV/Film market...Earthsea, The Dark is Rising to name two of them

This fills me with some kind of intrigued sceptical ughness

Speaking of books, is there any chance of meeting up to get my Dragonlance & Melanie Rawn books back off you before you move away?

Might be nice to catch up as well...

Sure, would indeed be good to catch up, moving all our stuff at the weekend, however I will still be in stevenage next week as I don't finish at Guide Dogs until the 13th although I have a sneaky feeling they may have been packed >.< but I'm sure I can find them.

Although you know if you fancy a weekend in the wilds of norfolk you are more than welcome to come and stay, and would indeed would be good to have you over, we have spare rooms and everything now =)

Hmm - never been a great of his (?) stuff - so I would find it hard to spot what was mangling and what was bad in the first place ;o)

Hmmm. I am willing to bet Terry is having a good deal more input into the project than TDIR got, and Earthsea was....at points very pretty but very much NOT what I expected having read the books.

*crosses fingers* maybe it will all be alright?
:P

the articles do say he is playing a very integral role in the scripting...

however it also says that each of the 22 episodes whilst following the general story will also be a story within their own right... that worries me
