Best advice: Don't take anything personally..

Second best advice: Don't go in with preconcieved ideas..

Basically can't give anything that useful until I know what the lesson is...

but be patient with them
use people's names as soon as you can
smile and use praise as much as you can
be consistent with everything

recieved my information through and it would appear the lesson I will be covering is Drama & Dance (wishing I had got a subject I was slightly more familiar with, or rather a straight academic subject, but hey ho), I know maths is more your speciality but if you have any good advice, or advice from any of your colleagues it would be grand, like you say I don't want to go in with any particularly preconcieved ideas but would like to be as prepared as I can be.

Sadly the cover lesson we will be observing to see how they do things there the subject isn't being given until the day of the interview.

I do also at least know I have 7 other candidates to beat (on that day at least)

There is also a teacher present in the cover lesson we have to take so have fingers crossed that might help prevent the little darlings from taking the piss as much as they might do were the teacher not present.
