Whenever people try to convince me gambling is "good for the local economy", I respond with "oh. like on reservations?". It usually shuts them up (either because they have no clue what I'm referencing or because they DO know about it).

I think Vegas is the exception, not the rule.

Good, short-to-the-point response, kungfucarrie. Some would argue that it's a matter for the soon-to-be unemployed of ABX Air to have jobs to put food on the table. But, I ask, what kind of jobs are they ( ... )
