i don't know...i think it's only in God's hands if it's our final destiny...like "the big picture of things". or when we can't take anymore pressure, or can't see where we're going and have to trust that things will work themselves out.
but i think lots of it is more in our hands. we control our decisions...and our every day schedules...and who we talk to...and what we're doing...
and for some reason....right now that's just more tangible and more of a reality.

If you don't make time for your life, life won't make time for you. (Mystery Men anyone?)
I agree w/ Taryn... The way I see it, we have almost total control of what we do with our lives, and what we choose to do with our lives will be judged by God, since he gave us free will. It's just a matter of if our will matches God's will or not. I do believe he is able to control events in the physical domain, and he does either to encourage or discourage us, but the decisions we make are ultimately ours.
Ive actually been thinking about this a lot lately, so it's kind of a coincidence, since im taking an actual class on control.

Olive Garden...here I come. Dishwasher, though. Not server or anything. I have experience in the dishwashing dept. (as we all know. Me and my crazy Cedarkirk kitchen self). Any advice/tips you can give me (besides to run FAR FAR AWAY!) would be helpful at this time. What am I getting myself into!!!?

I already told the folks at Olive Garden that I want to be a dish washer b/c there's NO WAY I could be a host. It's WAY too hard to get a job as a server/host in G-ville (college town. Lots of competition. Getting a job at all is a miracle and mom's going to kick my ass if I don't.)
