Something about that entry was just very funny. You sounded very little kid-like (kind of like I do). It was cute. I laughed out loud and didn't know quite why. LOL.

What's this about a handbell choir? You'll have to fill me in.

i actually called mark yesterday [to tell him i wouldn't be at practice...and to talk about the handbell choir]. nativity school has a set of 'hand bells' [expensive, brass bells with a handles and varying sizes depending on the tessitura of the note...no doubt]...and the nativity students will play pieces in their music class in their school masses around christmas [i.e...i might be assigned an 'f#' bell and a 'c'...and i'd play them whenever those notes come up]. so people in our lifeteen band AND some of the members of the adult chorale were interested in having an adult 'handbell choir' to play for masses around/during christmas time. we'd have to have practices...and everyone would be wearing gloves/taking special care of the bells since they are old, expensive...and do not have a finish/glaze over the brass to protect them from wear and tear. i think you need like....at least 12 people or something [because there's bell's from c4-c7...or c-c3 depending on how you were taught to name notes] for about 24 handbells ( ... )
