i don't really know if i have anything to say about it. i'm not really sad/upset. like i really know what goes on anyway... since most of it's about 'making an image' and appealing to certain types of people. and if you didn't notice....90% of D.C's vote [the region most associated with our governement/country] was for Kerry ( Read more... )

mostly i agree with you. it is rather discouraging. but i suppose we must press on. elections are emotional things for everyone. we feel as though we put our faith in john kerry, as if he were our beacon of hope. unfortunately, he didn't win. its up to us to make sure next election, our voices continue to be heard. our country is STILL in dire need of change. i hope that in 2008, young america will go out and vote in even greater numbers than yesterday.

whoa, where the fuck did that positivity come from... that isn't like me. i guess after being bitter and angry with the idiot fucks that voted for bush (? our parents ?- not that they are idiots, but for christ's sake! - how much more can we write this out for them?!) i needed to put the "we'll-get-'em-next-year" hat on.

bleh. i'm sick of it. the bush administration is just a pile of dogshit that no one wants to clean up.

yeah... i mean there's two kinds of people....ignorant people who waste away their lives with materialistic bull shit.....and people who work hard and accept the world as it really is.

i wonder if kerry will run in 2008. it sucks that only 17% of our voters were 'young people'. same as the last four years. good job mtv.
