It's the first sentence of this that really touches me. I'm sorry about your friend. I hope that everyone is coping all right.

Would you mind if I forwarded this story to my dad? Sounds like the kind of thing he might use in a sermon.

It's a good community in that family. I think everyone will have good and bad days of it as time passes, but the community makes sure nobody gets left behind.
