Thank you :)
I've been thinking about trying to do this for a while, and then last night I needed to procrastinate...and voila!

ooh I'm so glad their voices and attitudes came across - that's what I'm really aiming for when I write. And all dialogue seems to be a thing for me this week, it's quite a challenge.

Isn't this the truth! I don't really see it but I certainly enjoy reading it! Some writers on lj make it rather believable, so I'm willing to put aside my doubts and enjoy!

giggles are fantastic! How can you not giggle when Brenda is all flustered and whiny and thinking the world revolves around her and Pope is just sitting there calmly rationalizing all her complaints away!

Thanks for the love!

Thank you! I'm glad the sweet came through - Pope may not always have been faithful, but he does care deeply about his women :)

Oh, dear God. You have finally gone insane.

Good, good ear for their voices (except for Will's last speech--I'm a little mixed on that. It's really hard to keep in character for a "baring the soul" speech).

What in the world does this have to do with you Brenda?

*snorfle*

She’s totally not your type. She’s so, so difficult

*deeply ironic cackle* I adore the subtext about the fact that it is the ways in which Raydor is just like Brenda that make Raydor so appealing to him. Because you totally meant that subtext, right? Right?

Yes, we should probably have my head examined...though it may be too late.

So this came out of the episode Lover's Leap in which Will is explaining his relationship with Maggie Scott to Brenda. He gives a somewhat similar "baring the soul" speech and it just got me thinking how similar his description of Maggie was to Brenda and then to how similar Sharon is to both of those women. So while the voice was definitely hard to maintain in that paragraph, I also think it rang true for me because I'd already heard him do something similar and Sharon is the epitome of what Will seems to look for.

And as for the subtext...absolutely intentional! As said above, I find lots of similarities between these three women (even though we don't actually meet Maggie). Will definitely has a type and while I still don't think Sharon would fall for him - I absolutely think he would fall for her. :)

Thanks for all your feedback!
