I wish band wasn't so complicated. Seriously...in terms of trying to figure out what the hell I'm supposed to do, it sucks. I have virtually no guidance except for some pointers and memories of past management. I'm so thankful for Ms. Matz but hello...she's f***in retiring next Wednesday!!! Then no more Ms. Matz! Two things first
1-YOU ARE GETTING NEW UNIFORMS?!?!?!? NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT FAIR!!!

2-Ms. Matz is retiring!?!???!??!?

Man how I would have loved to have a band council with no drama

Why aren't you marching this year? And are the unuforms just for football? I say go with hoodies and jeans :-D

Oh and what about marching at Cheney Stadium parking lot? Not only is that a lot of space but assuming I'm still working on the chairs I can say hi everyday! :-)

When is band camp?

Okay so I just realized you probably needed a place to practice playing not marching...I still say go with Cheney Stadium!!!!!!!! :-D

And one more question
When does school start? (This I could look up online but I'm too lazy :-) )

You don't have to be the ONLY conductor to feel special. Cuz you are! ;) You are the only girl conductor and only whoever knows what guts it takes to do something only guys tend to do! And more conductors is a good thing because in case you can't make it to a game (though that seems doubtful) and to carry on the post for years to come.

But I still think you are one damn good (and not to mention, very sexy) conductor ;) And that's from the bottom of my heart. And oh yeah...would you like to work with me on a duet for solo/ensemble contest? I'd love to do something with you for that!
