[Background]
First movie
Second movie

[Personality]
First of all, Lara is a very intelligent and curious person. She can speak several languages, read old languages and she has a knack for figuring out puzzle in tombs. This comes in handy for her work as a tomb raider. She's also well versed in literature, as well as in different mythologies and legends. While it’s not well explored in the movies, since she was raised as a Lady, there’s a high chance that she knows well how to carry herself in the high society. Lara is also tech-wise, though she relies on her assistant, Bryce, for any complex programming. But despite the efforts of her butler to keep her in line regarding her lineage and social status, Lara is a fun-loving, thrill-seeking type of person. She never goes for the easiest ways to do things and takes pleasure in doing things out of the ordinary. She acts more like ‘one of the guys’ than anything else, whether it’s taking some time to have fun on the sea with her sea motorbike or jumping off buildings to glide several miles while most people would only try to glide for one. She always has to push herself and her means to their limits.

While she can appear to be a emotionally unavailable at first glance, she simply hides her emotions well, though she can break down like any other person. Especially when it comes to her family and her friends. The first movie explores how she feels cheated out of time with her father, as he disappeared in action when she was a little girl. He was the one responsible for her love of myths and his own exploring of the world with his daughter is at the origin of her profession. She shows great sorrow when she meets with him in that crossing moment in time and it's easy to see that she had been clinging to memories of him since his death, never being able to let go until she avenged him later in the movie. Despite her seemingly guarded attitude, she shows that once you have gained her friendship and loyalty, she quickly warms up to you and slowly opens herself to you as well. The second movie shows how she trusts blindly her assistant and her butler, never doubting them even when they acted weird because they were being watched over by the bad guys while they talked on the phone. However, if you should betray the trust she has in you, you're in for a wild ride. She can hold a grudge like no other. Lara doesn’t trust anyone with a profit gaining attitude, nor one that turned his/her back on their country or their men, or on her. She also seems to have abandonment issues, which makes it difficult for to commit to a more serious relationship other than 'friends with benefits'.

While her line of work is a bit dishonest, she has a set of beliefs and morals that are very straightforward and to which she holds on to, with no exception. She is very much against hurting innocent people, going as far as killing the man she used to love to keep Pandora's Box hidden in the Cradle of Life, where it can’t hurt anyone. Also, while she could gain much from the artifact she usually uncovers, Lady Croft never uses them to her own advantage. She destroys the Triangle of Light even though it could have been used to bring her father back. But after talking to him, she realizes that Time is not to be trifled with and she only turns it to a few moments before, enough to save her friend West, despite not agreeing with his views.

Lastly, Lara is quite witty and loves to tease people. She’s also a bit of a flirt and likes to play hard to get. She is not above using her charms to get what she wants.

[Specialties/Abilities]

While being human, Lara is very athletic and acrobatic. She can climb anywhere, though not as fast as the free-runners. She has excellent marksmanship: she can hit her target while sliding down ropes upside down or while on the back of her horse. She's tech wise and can whip up a camera phone out of pretty much nothing. She's trained in hand-to-hand combat as well as some armed martial arts. It's hinted in the first movie that she has some military background, probably in the Special Ops of the British Army. She’s not too bad with stealth and she seems to have tried every extreme sport there is. She can also pilot jets. But for all her awesome skills, she can't cook. At all. Expect loads of kitchen fires.

[Affection]
Even if she flirts with you, you might get punched for touching her unless she touches you first. She has issues trusting men and committing to relationships, so she's more the type to have friends with 'benefits'. But with the right amount of CR, she might open up to you. Otherwise, she's a pretty friendly person even she appears a bit distanced at first.

[Fighting]
She's human, so she can be injured. Lara is not going to enter a fight for no reasons, but she will defend herself if needed be. If you want to kill her for any reasons, talk to me first please.

[Other Permissions]
Feel free to do what you want, as long as you don't tell her she's a character from a movie or a video game, we should be fine XD

[Other Facts]
While all of her knowledge has not been explored in the movies, it is most probable that she knows these language, or at least be able to half-ass them:
-->Russian, Mandarin, Latin (and any of its descents like French, Italian and Spanish), Greek, Vietnamese.

She also might have 4th wall knowledge about history and geography of 'our' Earth. It would be pretty OOC of her not knowing it, but if it bothers you, just IM me and we'll find a common ground, I'm sure.
