International Women's Day? That sounds ridiculous.

Actually, it's not. For the longest time, in my world, women were dominated by men and at some point even only considered as object or slaves to them. In the past hundred years, a lot of women fought to gain equal rights to the men, like the right to vote or to choose to have or not babies. This 'International Women Day' is just to remind us that what we have was not always so. And that for some women, there is still work to do to be equally recognized.

But here, really, this is just an excuse to have a only 'girls allowed night'...

Well, I did thought about trying to take over this world and enslave all the males here. But that would require more work than just hanging with the girls.

Yes. Women were not always treated as the equal of men in my world. Some still struggle with oppression. Celebrating who we are and what we won over is important so that we never lose it.

That makes sense, then. ...That oppression is still there, in my own world, to some extent.

I hope the women of your world find a way to end it then. All should be free and equal, regardless of sex, or race, or religion.
