This isn't a journal post, this is an unedited, rambling rant. I've been reading on this goddamned edition war for over a year now (longer than the new edition's existed), and I dropped out of even trying to discuss it on the Boards well before now, but I'm getting fucking TIRED of reading about it in places where it just doesn't even need to come

Thanks. It was a bit more rant-y than I wanted it to be, but that's why I put it on my LJ, where it could do the absolute least damage.

I might write a more sensible, level-headed version later, but the desire to is pretty much non-existent.

I think the biggest problem that I've got with it is that people seem to insist on going on the Paizo boards and ranting about how much they hate 4E (or 3.x/Pathfinder, or whatever). I mean, I never really liked GURPS, but I don't go onto wherever GURPS players congregate and bitch about how awful their game is. It's a facet of human nature that I just don't like.

But thanks for the understanding. :)
