An insane campaign side project needs your advice!

I'm thinking on setting up a (very) non-traditional campaign journal for my Legacy of Fire campaign when it gets started. Problem is, I'd like to post up the various bits and pieces (character art, character journals, additional materials), and have no real clue how to set something like that up. Here's the basic idea:

Public usage is totally fine, though I doubt it'll see much traffic, even if it comes out totally awesome. Basically, I just want to throw it out there for myself and my players, and if others get a kick out of it and even use some of it in their games, all the better.

That'd be sweet, thanks! I'll look into some of this stuff on my free time as well, though I'm totally lost when you get into "wikishells" (I know what a wiki is, and I understand the rudiments of shells, but I'm completely lost in how to set something like that up on a web site--hell, I can't even upload stuff on my LJ properly, apparently).

Our ISP is basically a wireless Internet modem rental and monthly service (Clearwire, if you're familiar), so I don't think they're offering web hosting as part of the service (and even if they do, it's my roommate's service, so I'm not gonna steal his possible website even if he is one of my players).

But yeah, if you're willing, I'd love the help. I've been out of the Internet loop for an incredibly long time, and there's clearly stuff out there, but I don't even know where to begin looking (at least, until you responded). So I appreciate all the help you're willing to provide.

One of the games I'm in uses pbwiki for the posting of our characters, their journals, maps, treasure item lists, etc.

It seems pretty cool...I've enjoyed using it as a player.

Yeah, I just checked this out this morning, funny enough. How hard is it to set up, and what kind of customization does it have?

Also, when you know what you want to play in your next game, I'd still love to make a PC mini for you. :D
