Drabble: "World-view shift in 3...2...1" Faith, Dawn, post-"Chosen"
"You missed all that," Dawn says. "And crazy as everything was when you first came back, nobody thought to tell you."
Faith can't formulate a word of response.
"So that's what all those little jokes were about. You can joke about --"
Dawn quirks a smile. "Not being real?" She shrugs. "Wasn't that funny when I first found out. But we all made a decision to act as if all that history was true."
"So you didn't exist when I first came to Sunnydale."
"I've always existed. That was harder to get used to than the idea my childhood was fake."
