Writer's Block: Friends and acquaintences

Got bored, so might as well answer one of this writer’s block questions :)

Well, here we go.

The differences according to me.

A friend is someone that, cliché but true, will always be there for you.
On the other hand, acquaintances do come and go according to their own season.

A friend is someone who knows how to draw a line and stick to it,

I think the word 'acquintance' is often used for negative connotation in English word. it's more like someone that you barely knew, and just pop up here and there, and do not mean so much in your life.

Friend can be both mutual or parasite in the same way. Well, of course, to be friend, you will need more 'time' i suppose.
