After a 13 hour work day (yes! a new record!), Nxtdrguy and I left work to find someone had hit his car in the work parking lot. Another half hour while he chated with security and I emailed my boss to let him know why I was at work so long. Happy Birthday, Snoopygirl (Hilary)!!!!! - part deux!
We ate (and drank) at a Hollywood eatery called Citizen Smith - food was really good. There was some drinking (wine) and loads of comfort food - steaks, mac and cheese, burgers and fried chicken. Oh, and strawberry shortcake for dessert.
It was great meeting Snoopygirl's friends, too :-D

The girl who fixed nxtdrguy and I up on the worst blind date ever had her "you're laid off now get the fcuk out of here" party tonight. We didn't attend as we went to her pity party dinner last Friday, at which she pulled the "you guys are paying for me, right?" when the bill came. That was basically the last straw for all of us. The summer heat seems to have fried people's brains... There's all kinds of drama over at TIB - especially in the buy and sell section. Seller's are calling dolls *mint* when they're clearly not, and gawd forbid anyone say anything about it - they act as if you've killed their first born. A little defensive, no? In addition to my predilection for collecting dolls, I'm also a full-blown knitting-freak and techno-geek. So, Blythe + knitting + techno-geek = a Blythe-size Jayne Cobb hat.
