Tori Amos Concert

On Tuesday, August 16, 2005, I went to my first Tori Amos concert!  It was good, but not as good as I had hoped.  I love her and her music, but I wish that she had played some different songs.  Still, she is beautiful and loves her some piano bench!  And the most important thing is that I had fun.
The Like opened for her, and they were really good

Tori rocks. I've seen her 9 times. Unfortunately I feel the same towards the last few concerts as you did at this show you just saw.

Other people have said that to me too. Maybe motherhood has changed her for the worse??? :(

I think motherhood has mellowed her out some what when she plays live. Or maybe its the non stop touring and age catching up with her. Who knows. Or maybe its just a new phase of Tori and the angry, rocking concerts are gone, replaced with the mellow, peaceful concerts.

I will say the Chicago show I saw in April was far superior to the two Scarlet shows I saw. Those shows were boring and endless.
