With a title like that, can you tell I went to a community college? ;) I had an epiphany a couple nights ago about something that I should have realized a long time ago --- And now I am simultaneously in a great mood while also feeling like a complete idiot. :P ( Read more... )

That's great Peter!
I have a friend up here trying VERY hard to get that degree, don't feel stupid, and it is an accomplishment.
The best part about it is that now if you go to a University, they won't make you take the general classes, and depending on the courses you took to get the Associate's, some of your course-related stuff.
Put it on your resume, use it to apply to college. It can be useful to have. I believe two of my brothers are just finishing up theirs right now.

I second Kimi's comment. If you were to go on to the Bachelor's level, you would not only have a lot of your Gen-Eds out of the way, you'd have lots of prerequisites and probably some lower-division courses completely out of the way. I'm glad that your epiphany proved to be a beneficial one. And hey, I'm graduating too, in August! :P

That is freakin' awesome. Realizing you have a degree must be so much better that thinking your going to get it, but having it pulled away from you several times.

I should have done it your way ^_^.

Yeah, I do plan on picking an actual focus eventually, so I know this'll be a good thing in the long run. :D
