::cries just a little bit::

::goofy grin:: ... why didn't you call?! I would've bawled with you. Instead, I stayed in bed and watched the entire season (well, episodes 1x03-10) of SJA.

::cries more::

You'll have to tell me how SJA was. I think I've watched the first two eps.

Oh, and save me! I've indulged in late-night experimental cooking. Again. X|

Thanks. I'm really glad you did. :)

I was sad before I wrote it, and it made me sadder writing it, but then I watched the S4 trailer, and now....well, I hope. ;)

Fantastic minute-by-minute account - he went through so many wild extremes of emotion in those few minutes, poor Doctor.

Some lines nearly broke me apart. The time he aches to let go and run to her - so vivid. And this was quite beautiful:

For a second she's not there. He sees her but he can't feel her. Then reality snaps back, stinging, like an elastic, and her future has entwined so with his own that he can't see it. He can't see it at all.

I love stories like this, the ones that take something that's been done a thousand times before and bring it up fresh and new. Well done.

Thank you. :)

The style was sort of more stream-of-consciousness than I normally write, so a bit of an experiment for me. I'm glad it seems to have worked.

I was just watching Doomsday again and I couldn't resist trying to write what the Doctor might have been thinking. He knew the storm was coming...
